Globalwarming Awareness2007 301 Redirects

Yes, so I took 2 international SEO contest until a lot of users found out that 301 redirects is the best way to win a contest like Globalwarming Awareness2007. Of course there is nothing to do about it because a rule against it would be hard to check and then again it's acceptable according to Googles Guidelines, but should only be done to move a website and this is not the actually meaning in a contest. It's not how you would start off with a new website normally and shouldn't be done in a contest either like a lot seems to be doing in Globalwarming Awareness2007 contest.
But it's very hard to detect and what if it's not the owner who made the redirect? How should such a thing be handled? The rules for a Search Engine Optimization Contest can only be for the competing web sites. This means you actually use black hat and grey hat methods as long as they can't be connected to your web site. I believe this will be the end of the SEO contests I'm afraid.
Now let's see if this website can compete with the others by not using any 301 redirects (at least a I believe so).
